How this list was built: verified against restaurant menus and local press (Arlington Magazine, Northern Virginia Magazine, Washingtonian) in October 2026. Menus change — if a program's gone, tell us.
Arlington
Circa at Clarendon
A proper zero-proof list: the Blossom Lounge, Pineapple-Jalapeño Faux Rita, To Each Their Own, and Ruby Rose. Named drinks, not afterthoughts.
Ambar — Clarendon
Four mocktails on the menu, including the Best Sumac Soca and Mango Mule. Balkan small plates pair well with not drinking.
Surreal
Mocktail list with a virgin piña colada, zero-proof lychee martini, and enchanted lemonade.
Busboys & Poets — Shirlington
Five "hold the booze cocktails" on the menu. The rare chain-scale spot that treats NA as a category.
Bar Chinois
Dedicated mocktails including the Frizz Fizz, in a moody cocktail-bar setting that doesn't make you feel like the odd one out.
Alexandria
Matt and Tony's
Runs a dedicated mocktail menu titled "Spirit Free … But Not Soulless." The name alone earns the listing.
Jula's on the Potomac
"Free-spirited" mocktails — zero-proof mojitos and bloody Marys, plus the signature Mondays in Paris. Waterfront views included.
Royal Restaurant
Five mocktails: Thornless Flower, Agua Fresca, Prickle, International Waters, Tiptoes. An Old Town institution that takes the category seriously.
Vola's Dockside Grill
Dedicated mocktails — passionfruit mojito, lemongrass ginger julep, Summer Rain — with a Potomac dockside setting. Their seasonal Hi-Tide tiki pop-up runs zero-proof tropical drinks too.
Fairfax County
Elyse
Non-alcoholic drink pairings served alongside the tasting menu. Fine-dining-level NA — the kind of program that makes a special night out feel complete.
Founding Farmers — Tysons
Three zero-proof mocktails: No-groni, Apple Ginger Snap, Golden Lotus.
L'Auberge Provencale (worth the drive)
The most serious NA spirits program in the region — a full zero-proof cocktail list built on non-alcoholic distilled spirits (Seedlip, Ritual, Ghia, St. Agrestis). The No-Groni alone justifies the drive out to wine country.
Loudoun County
Shoe's Cup and Cork
Named mocktails including the Rhubarb Spritz. Small-town wine bar energy, zero-proof options on the menu.
The Docket
Speakeasy-style cocktail lounge whose bartenders build drinks with zero-proof tequila. When a cocktail bar stocks NA spirits, that's a real program.
Sun–Thu 3–10 PM; Fri–Sat 3 PM–midnight.
The gaps
- Prince William County: no verified restaurant with a dedicated mocktail program found yet. If you know one, send it our way.
- NAJA (Mosaic): the former Kirby Club ran "Mocktail Mondays," but it reopened under new ownership in 2025 — NA status unconfirmed. Call before you go.
